Data slowly trickling in from the UNCA scrimmages.

App Baseball played Western today. I hate purple.
Also have no info on how we did. Feel free to chime in if you’ve heard anything.

Away at Coastal May 2-4.

Coastal schedule released. My goodness it’s probably one of the most difficult schedules in the county OOC wise.

Waiting on our schedule release soon.

It's going to be pedestrian compared to that. I was told the normal NC schools/travel and possibly 1/2 NC P5 schools off the mountain. Honestly CCU as much as it pains me, is a great destination for any cold P5 team to play because of the area and most of the time the quality of the team.

That is a legit schedule. Maybe St. Joe's is the easiest opponent on paper. They play mid level opponents ECU and UNCW which are typically good...and mid week games Clemson, UNC, etc
If I were a fan of CCU, I would consider buying season tickets for that ...and consider going to drivable OOC games. Give credit where credit is due.

APP does play Duke in April in Durham. Hoping they play Charlotte in Uptown. Charlotte has quite a few open dates still for some reason.

A lot of Home/Hickory games to start! Very interesting.

Definitely a unique schedule. Wonder in other teams have adopted this type of schedule.

23 games at Beaver Stadium, plus at least 10 games within an hour and 15 minutes drive from Greensboro. I like it!

Definitely good to see Western, CLT, Duke and Wake on the schedule for OOC. Glad Pollard is continuing to play us.
I like the Spring Break trip to CofC! Warm weather, not a bad drive, against a good team. The team will love that trip.

First 11 games is where we could make some hay.

Some of these comments make it seem like Steensma is out long term. I thought he originally avoided a serious injury. Anyone know his status? And if surgery, how is he doing?

Moquin’s dad hints that he’s out for the year.

I believe that he had TJ surgery.

Bummer. I thought I’d heard his injury from early May wasn’t too serious. Did a new injury occur recently where he had to get TJ?
A TJ surgery in early May, albeit a tight timeline, could have him ready this year, but still very tight and risky.

I talked to some of the guys in October at GaSt game and they said Steensma was feeling good and ready. Maybe a new injury? I hate that for him. Excellent young man and a great arm!

I’m not sure. That’s just what I heard. I’m not sure of the timeline of when what occurred.
