Lost to UNC 6-5 yesterday evening Close games this weekend.

Salukis get their revenge and beat us down 11-2. 1-4 during the tournament with a win over a quality SIU team and tough, 1-run losses to Auburn & UNC. I know it's not the results they wanted, but there are some positives. We need pitching more pitching is my thought.

Except for the “run rule” loss to cheat they have been competitive. They look like they can play. I agree, more pitching is needed.

Like most programs, yesterday wasn't a good day for softball. But just like Baseball, it was a much better day today.

See that softball has not been televised this weekend. Is the new playing field not fully equipped for TV at this time?

correct. the hope is the april 4 series, but who knows for sure.

Softball has had a good couple of weeks with a sweep of JMU last week and a series win over Marshall today.

Won it with a grand slam in the bottom of the 7th.

The new ballpark seems to have given them a boost. Tennis looks to be in a similar situation this year.

Always good to have new digs... hopefully baseball team can follow suit on Huntington this weekend.
