Here we go, If we can just hit 'em where they aint and have them hit 'em where we are, then I tnink we could do much better!

Ga Southern is 7-1 with an RPI of 165, we are 0-8 with an RPI of 110. I guess we will get a better feel for where we are once this murderous stretch is complete. It is hard to get excited by the product on the field to date but I guess we have to look for the positives where we can.

App has played the toughest first 8 games of any team in America I'd wager. I know that this team is talented and these games will only benefit them down the road.

Everyone forgets the quality of opponent we have played. Yes, 0-8 is bad. But over half have been close games, I think 2 runs or less.

Any other team at app couldn't even compete against this level of competition, except wrestling. IMO

You are very correct and if we cut the errors in half, we would have won a few of the game. The pros get beat by 5-8 runs on a regular basis. I'm upset with the 0-8 start, also realize we are playing very good ranked teams. We have made some silly mistakes too, but that will improve as they play more. Go Apps.

This is dark humor and I'm starting to feel like a Cubs fan. I couldn't wait for football to get over and was somewhat looking forward to basketball hoping we could make a big run. Well you can always hope. Well I said there's always baseball ....... Granted its early in a season but the pitching and errors portend a tough outcome. Looks like the only good thing that happened this year was our football recruiting class. As Sean Connery said in the movie Wind and the Lion, "It's been a bad year."

The diamond Apps will be okay. Playing ranked teams on the road is not usually the way to a fast start. They will settle down and still make a SoCon run. Too bad that errors have led to too many unearned runs.
