PSA for app baseball fans. Nate Hyatt relieved cj Wilson for the Angels today in the big league game. Got a double play to get the Angels out of a jam.

Apps give up a run in the bottom of 9th and lose 2-1.

Apps up 3-0 after five today. All the runs came in the second off a walk, an error and then three straight RBI singles. Springs still throwing, but already at 89 pitches.

UALR gets four in the ninth, the last on a safety squeeze, to win it 4-3.
This is amazingly horrifying.

Sent Springs back out in the 9th after 118 pitches or something like that... Then brought in the same pitcher that gave Wake their jump start... I have no more words for this.

Springs had 139 pitches last game and was basically in the same position last week (up 4 runs last week) and held on for the win.

And that's the wrong thing to do.

I agree. A bit more understandable this week given the shutout, but the pitch count was up there. Either have a new pitcher start the 9th or leave Springs out there. Bringing in a pitcher from a bullpen that Jones has shown to have zero faith in with runners on is asking for it.

I wonder how BIlly will try and pin the blame on the players this time
Great leaders accept blame, even when it is not theirs to accept.

Who is recording this and then releasing it to the interwebs? I am not offended, just surprised it has not been pulled.
