The baseball Apps gave up 9, yes 9 runs, 8 of them unearned in the 3rd inning and dropped an 18-15 decision to the Cantamounts.

Beating a Jones led baseball team is almost as quality a win as beating a Capel led basketball team at this point.
Cobb did a favor for an old friend and it could set the program back years.
I hope Billy can right the ship, he'll definitely have a chance to do so. I have no other option other than pull for the guy based on the contract.

Baseball Apps go up against a middle of the road (at best) SoCon team and end up with the same result. As the season progresses this team gets worse, as has been the case for the past three years.

I agree with Saint, might as well pull for him because he is going to have plenty of time to "right the ship". The good is, he will probably be with us for another 2 years, if he cant get this turned around in that time period, we can let him go with a clean conscience.

Youth has been an excuse thrown around a lot this season. Thus, that being the case, we should see improvement over the next two seasons. Otherwise........

That middle statement couldn't be more spot on

Do we know for a fact that it was Cobb and not RB? I don't really know when that extension went down.

Fact. Angel Elderkin is Rick's only personnel decision.

We could have kept Pollard if Cobb would have or could have forked over enough salary and benefits.

At this point we need to take care of business at the Ark State Series, a sweep would be nice, just don't finish dead last. That's all I ask, don't finish dead last. Then next season, youth should not be an issue.
