Having back to back home and away games is asinine.

How are the Can'ts doing in the SoCon so far?

It seems to be an even match for us, and we're the doormat of the Belt this year.

*edit* Looked up the standings myself (duh). They're middle of the pack. This further demonstrates what a step up we've made, at least in this sport.

It was a quick trip at least. Personally I am glad we get to play WCU in a few games this year, and home and home is a good way to schedule it. We could have done like we do with HPU and A&T most every year and schedule the home and home a week or so apart.

Hard to make a direct comparison based off of midweek games.

If I recall correctly, while western is middle of the pack socon, they have won JUST 2 road games all yr. Yesterday's win was nice, but should be taken with a grain of salt.

And just as an FYI our Schedules tab at the top of the page is up to date (complete with links to the AppStateSports site for each game) for the sports listed on it, including Baseball. Since it was asked about by several in another thread just thought everyone should know.

For the Can'tamounts, "strange toilets" = indoor plumbing.

Thanks for the link, but I'm on an iPhone at present. I'll try to check it out tonight when I get in.

More likely they don't have their "homers" calling the game.
