We all figured a few changes would be coming. Here's one. Welcome Coach Aspegren.

Sorely needed. Hopefully Gillian is putting some cash back into the baseball program after Cobb started cutting their funding the past few years.

I'm sure it'll be somewhat of a culture shock for him and his family to get used to though

Met Coach Aspegren last Saturday at the Sofield Practice Facility. It was chilly and spitting snow. definitely a change from southern California. Seemed like a sharp guy, hopefully he can nurture good things for the Mountaineers!

Jones is on the clock to get this thing turned around, I don't think our AD is the type of boss who is going to allow what happened last year to become a normal thing. Hiring a new pitching coach seems to be a step in the right direction, we lost so many games last year after the 7th inning, but we better see some significant improvement.

There's going to a lot of freshmen playing this year. There's only two seniors this year in Atwood and McCann after Davis and Dobson went pro. Besides McCann, they're all Jones' players.

The key is BJ needs to Aspegren not just coach the pitchers but also be the in-game manager of the pitchig staff. BJ has shown me nothing that indicates he knows how to make in-game decisions when it comes to pitching changes.
