Re: Eaves makes 2nd Team All-SBC
Alas, was hoping for an all-frosh team that would pick up 'Shad Shabazz; but nooooooooooooooooo.

Fox just needs about two more puzzle pieces to plug in to get his jet off the ground...a dead-eye PG and a 6-9 or 6-10 big who can play with his back to the basket down low. But everybody wants those guys.

Congrats to Eaves. I do think Shabazz is someone that Fox can build around going forward. He had a strong 2nd half of the season.

Re: Eaves makes 2nd Team All-SBC
I read this in the Greensboro news paper this morning. says' Greensboro's Frank Eaves, who played for Page HS.... but not a single mention of App???? if you didn't know him, you would not know who he was playing for, except that it was in the Sun Belt....

I don't know that we need a Donald Sims type point as much as a Patterson/Thompson type PG. We need a point that can consistently give us 10-12 ppg AND 5-8 assists per game. Burgess couldn't create and distribute against the Sun Belt teams as he did in the SoCon. Logan I think will be what we need, he will get his but will look to get it to others as well.asu66 wrote:Alas, was hoping for an all-frosh team that would pick up 'Shad Shabazz; but nooooooooooooooooo. He should be ready to make some loud noise by next November. If he stays healthy and stays in command of his academic work, he'll be heard from.

That's what I do. I gripe and I know things.
