G’bo
Looking forward to seeing this game .Both played Monty State about even , and that’s a pretty good early season squad. Tenney Tech got spanked ,again by both , so the matchup looks like a push.G’bo is much further along with their program and looks to be a force in the old conference but I like what I see on our side, especially defensively .Dustin inherited a shipwreck, like eight years worth of listing about aimlessly. We’ve got some talent and the guys appear to be buying in. No reason we can’t take this one.Otherwise , I really can’t believe that Epstein killed himself.

I don’t think he did either but Q is absolutely the stupidest thing I have seen . In other news, the fact that I’m the first response to a basketball post tells you everything you need to know about the malaise in our fan base. Including me.

Re: G’bo
E-Z now with your criticism. There was an average of 38 posts per thread for the first two tourney games in G'boro. There will be activity on this thread tonight when the team is actually taking on UNC-G. You have to factor in the eight previous seasons when our players were essentially found to be unresponsive to their coaches. Actual signs of life have been detected this fall. There's hope!

I guarantee you with the exception of the powerhouse teams like Duke, UNC, and Kentucky, etc. Most message boards aren't talking about basketball. It's getting into the most exciting part of football season. Once football is over you will see more post on here for sure.

I was at the game Friday in Fleming (couldn't make the Saturday game) and my wife and I will be there tonight at the coliseum wearing the black & gold and being loud and proud.

Re: G’bo
This is probably more activity then most of our non gameday threads have had in the last decade.
It was mid-December last year before we even had a couple D1 wins, so I'm already happier then last season.

Re: G’bo
Don't know a ton about their team this year, but based on recent years and the fact that we're a 9.5 point dog, I can't quite call it a toss-up. However, it does seem like a chance to get our best win of the year and show that we're perhaps a bit ahead of schedule.

Re: G’bo
Wes Miller has that program in a great spot, and there’s a reason folks have thrown his name out there for big P5 jobs.
However, UNCG has lost key contributors from their tournament teams over the past couple of years. If we can break their pressure (which was a thorn in our side under Fox) we win this game.

Re: G’bo
I was wrong, with just under 8 minutes left we have found a way to muster up 7 points.
