Re: Bowling Green
BGSU is one of the better teams to come to the Holmes Center lately, picked to finish near or at the top of the MAC. They blew SCSU out in the second half, but it was a two point game at halftime. Looks to be a pretty even matchup by most measures. Also played #25 Michigan pretty tightly, though Michigan then lost to Oakland so who knows how good they are.
Justin Turner is one of the better players we'll see this year, but I think we have a good shot at going 3-0 here.

If you aren’t watching ESPN+ tune in.
Our boys our playing good team defense, moving the ball well on offense and hitting free throws.
This is very watchable basketball something I’ve not been able to say for a few years.

Really enjoying the way the boys are playing right now. Solid growth from a year ago, handling full court pressure much better than last year.

Re: Bowling Green
Remembering how frustrating this team was just two years ago, that first half was so great to see. By no means am I suggesting this team is perfect or will make a deep tournament run; but you can see the direction the program is trending. The way they play TEAM defense is fantastic, seamless transition between screens, active hands, solid on the boards. On offense the ball moves, it doesn't stick in any one players hands. The offense (especially when facing the press) seems much more under control this year as well. Again just one half, but I'm excited for App Basketball (something that I've not said a lot)!!!

Re: Bowling Green
Turnovers likely a focus at the half, like how he pulled a player after two quick TOs.

Re: Bowling Green
Hopefully we will generate some half court offense besides three passes, a screen and a 3. Almonocy does have that look of a baller. Fluid moving around, the hair and beard helps and sweet shot.

Re: Bowling Green
Almonacy is a beast. Wondering why Justin Forrest was on the bench for so long at the end.

Re: Bowling Green
Sucks to come up short, but hell of a game. Kearns has really done wonders in a short time with this team. Very excited for this year and the future.

Re: Bowling Green
Almonacy is the real deal. Feel grest when he has the ball. When it gets into the hands a couple of our bigs, not so much. Still greatly improved team it appears. Going to be fun to watch.

Re: Bowling Green
Helluva game! Helluva response by the Apps! What's up with RJ Duhart? He was the sixth man tonight, but went in early and was on the court only 3 minutes. Injury? Illness?
Hope he's OK. Regardless, watch-the-hell-out-for-the-Apps, Sun Belt!
