Their Coach Sanchez was pretty classless in the post game presser. Said we didn’t beat them, they beat themselves. Sounds just like their fans.

Yep, kinda like what some of us said when we were defeated in key football games this season.

A head coach in a press conference should not sound like fans venting on a message board.

Ok...it’s definitely 2020. Not 1 article in the Charlotte Observer or the WSJ about the game. WTF!!!

Today’s Winston-Salem Journal included a 10-paragraph story and long box of the game on page C2. Details of the women’s game was below it. A significant portion of the sports front was taken up by Ethan’s preview of tonight’s football game.

Charlie or Charley, etc LOL Does the Journal offer a paper edition by US mail?

WSJ may for $500 a year with postage but you can subscribe to the WSJ digital edition which is basically a PDF version of the paper each day. I get the Greensboro paper in print each morning and get most of Ethan's articles but basketball coverage is a bit less in the Gboro paper. I have thought of getting the WSJ during football season and letting them know it is due to Ethan.

I despise digital versions of anything. But that's just me. One gets only about a tenth of the content. i have two digitals now and the only reason i have them is there is no alternative. Thanks for the info at any rate McL.

The e-edition of Greensboro paper, and I assume the WSJ, is the exact paper minus the ads, maybe the Parade insert is missing on Sunday. I can't remember about Parade. I generally only read the e-edition if I am out of town or the paper is wet, which rarely happens since I ask my paper to be placed in the newspaper holder under the mailbox. I think the e-edition actually has more news as the Greensboro e-edition includes the Rockingham County insert that I don't get in Guilford County.

For a dollar a week you might want to give it a trial and just see what you are getting. I think it will be 100% of the paper and you can even save the whole issue as a PDF or certain pages.

Their message board is all over him. Upset he was smiling in the post game press confab. Some or their fans seem to think it is the late 1970s still in basketball

I could get used to UNCC being a tune-up game for App before conference play begins in both football and basketball. It's good for our sports programs.

Honestly, I felt Charlotte did beat themselves at times. Not calling a timeout when on a scoring drought and surprised that they did not adjust better when we started hitting 3s. They were ahead most of the game but that was mainly due to the fact we could not hit 3s. The game is pretty even if we just hit 15% of them in first half. I'm just glad to get the win. It was huge for us as you could see in our player and coach reactions after.

As for football, you could literally flip about 5 plays and we go from 3 losses to undefeated despite all the injured personnel.
