An App win tonight will because of free throw shooting, 13-14 at this point with a 5 point lead.

Another 2nd half rally for this team. I guess we need not lead at the half.

At 4-2 they are 2nd in the East now. A loss would have put them in a 3 way tie for 3rd. Big series at home next weekend with Ga State.

The improved free throw shooting has been a huge help. Apparently a second half team lol.
Like you said Hapapp that Georgia St series will be big.

Atta way boys! We did not look great most of the game. Way to fight back.

I hate that 36 of our shots were from beyond the arc.......

USA has historically been possibly the toughest team for us to beat in sun belt play for some reason. I don’t even know if fox ever beat them. Glad to have a coaching staff who adjusts and figures out a way to put players in position to win.

South Alabama played a zone that basically dared our guys to shoot from there. Most were good looks

Great win. Forrest was clutch during the 12-0 run that gave us the lead, he also had a team high 6 assists. Delph was fantastic and Almonacy was reliable as usual
Free throws literally won us the game. It's not often you get out rebounded by 9 and allow opponent to shoot 50% from the field and 46% from 3 and still pull out a win
Looking forward to the Georgia State series!

I’m excited that we’re getting 4 and 5 pages of discussion about game series. This thing is building!!!

Noted Parker’s reduced playing time and the Delph factor. Great win, let’s go get Ga. St.! Have to admit, I was worried for much of the game. Only matters how it ends.

Re: MBB @ South Alabama Discussion (1/15 7pm & 1/16 5pm)
What a contrast in the two second halves from Friday to Saturday. In three of our last four games, we've had strong showings in the 2nd half to secure the win. Friday's loss was a complete reversal.
One thing this season of Belt play (both men and women) has demonstrated is that the results can vary wildly from one night to the next. A team can win by double digits one night and lose by a similar amount the next to the same team.
We have an opportunity to take a huge step with GA State coming to town. Of course, given the play thus far in the East, we could finish the weekend anywhere from first to fourth.

I was most definitly proud of hard hard our guys played last night. We dont seem to have the greatest talent out there, but they play rediculously hard especially defensively...Kerns is really doing a terrific job. i mean we're 10-5 right now and it wasn't long ago we would have been lucky to get 10 wins the whole season.
