Baseball is home tomorrow.
Hoping for less walks and hit batters tomorrow.

Same crap we always get. Produces turds, not diamonds. Lack of depth, same ol issue with inbounding the ball and free throws and one again, a decent crowd goes home with a loss.

Crazy we kept up with them in scoring as much as we did. A little more defense would have been nice to have.
I mean some of these last few we’ve had decent defense on, ridiculous shot making
On a few occasions, but our guards were a step behind latter part of second half. Noticeably worn down. That's what lack of depth will do to a team. Not sure we have enough horses to make the run it will take to win the tourney.
Joseph make a damning statement postgame. “Their hands were down”. You are exactly right about being worn down. When you are tired, the fundamentals fail first.

It does seem that since the Auburn game, every opportunity to perform in front of a big crowded results in a loss.

Free throws haven’t cost us a game…

Never ever post that crap again.
Amen! Yes there are going to be games that we might struggle at FTs but somehow win but will lose many due to free throws. Only someone who does not know basketball at all would say they are not important. Every coach will say what you and I have said about it. Got to hit them.

We shot 40 free throws and lost. At home. My goodness. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that in college.

Went from potentially being regular season champs to likely being 5th or worse. Incredibly disappointing.

Excluding the magical 2023-24 regular season, we have a 6-12 record in the last four games heading into the SBC tournament and since our 2021 tournament run, we are 2-4 there. Our end of season finishes don't provide a lot of confidence as the season comes to a close.

Dodd was visibly gassed , played the entire game. They basically wore us down and won it late. Might have been their gameplan.

Marshall would seem to have the inside track to the regular season title.

With the loss tonight, we are 5-6 against the SBC East.

Another Kerns masterpiece. Ironic to miss a FT with a chance to tie the game and lose.

That was clearly their plan. Get physical and wear us down. They bet we couldn't beat them at the FT line and were right. Marshall always seems to have our number in hoops.

We'll still be top four if we win the last two and that's all that matters. A lot of top teams have to play each other.

The fatigue showed at the line as well.

Seems like the way we play defense which is amazing more often than not and how thin our depth is results in late season losses...last year ended with 4 straight Ls...hopefully can turn it around against ga South Saturday the. On the road against tex st...season ain't over but last two games have sucked

That Texas State game could be for fourth place.

The rate at which the refs were blowing the whistle, our guys looked like they were playing scared to get anywhere near Marshall in 2nd half for fear of a ticky tack foul.

We shot 40 free throws to their 25. The were also whistled for 25 fouls to our 17. We missed 12 free throws. We also essentially played 6 guys. For several years now I don’t really understand why kerns thinks grinding his starters down to a nub is a winning formula headed into March

Flush it. Nothing matters until March. Good time to rest at home and recover. Need a win on Saturday now.
