Worst tournament atmosphere I can remember. Pitiful.

Sun belt is too spread out and not basketball centric.

I do wonder if it was closer to the eastern fanbases (say Roanoke VA) it would be better attended

A Deeper Than Hate conference championship game would be perfect.
As much as it pains me to say it, Ga Southern was the lower seed that I thought had the best chance to make a run. They ended up knocking down threes to beat USA’s zone and they have handled Marshall twice this year. They would be confident against the Herd if they can beat Coastal, although it’s a tough task to beat a team three times in a season. Coastal and GSU split their conference games, both in OT. Should be interesting.

It should alternate between New Orleans and one of Charlotte/Atlanta/Charleston. Having in a state that has no teams in the conference is ridiculous.

Agreed. They seem to play up to their competition. Feels wrong pulling for them but I’d much rather play them again than Coastal and especially Marshall if it gets to that point.

This camera angle is hilarious.
And no scoreboard on screen.
Good start though, I think.
Missed 2 FTs but USM is in foul trouble early.

I take it back. Haven’t scored in 5+ mins.
Too many 3s.

Different year, same story so far. Southern Miss is playing with more effort and wants to win.

Big question for me is do the extra days of rest help our boys because of lack of depth or do we come out cold from the time off. We shall see.
Think I'm getting my answer as we speak.

Southern Miss is out coaching and out playing Appalachian State. We are sloppy and look ready for the CBI. Hope someone gets fired up soon.

Dodd cares but do the others? Kerns looks stoic as a statue.

You could hold the Sunbelt tournament in Times Square and nobody would stop to watch.

They want it more.
Beating us at the slow pace.
We’re sagging and not aggressive on D which is odd.
