WBB: 2016 Recruiting

Unread post by firemoose » Wed Dec 31, 2014 6:58 pm

Sorry it took me a little time to put this up but I was looking to see if I had a 2016 WBB thread. I saw this yesterday but wanted to find the thread. I really thought I had one but realized I didn't so here it is.

App has picked up the first commit for the 2016 class. PF Bayley Plummer (6' 2") of East Davidson High School in Thomasville, NC has committed to App. Still in her Jr year she already has passed 1,000 points, 500 blocks, and 1,000 rebounds. I am linking her MaxPreps profile and a news article from The Dispatch. I'll add to this as more information becomes available.

I think she is a good player and a good pick-up. She is physical.
She is not yet on a level with her fellow EDHS player and App State star, Anna Freeman and I don't say this as a criticism.

Isn't that the same high school as Anna Freeman?

Yes, same High School as Anna, but she is not the same kind of player as Anna. More of a post, physical, no range like Anna, but she has time to improve. Anna is teaching at Hasty Elementary not far from EDHS (but in the Ledford school district).
