Sun Belt releases 2015-16 basketball schedule

We'll be better prepared for tournament play with this schedule.

ASU has 3 games Home on Saturday where their opponent has NO game scheduled for earlier in the week.

ASU has 3 games Away on Saturday where their opponent has NO game scheduled for earlier in the week.

ASU has 2 games Home on Saturday where their opponent has a game scheduled for earlier in the week on Tuesday.

ASU has 2 games Away on Saturday where their opponent has NO game scheduled for earlier in the week on Tuesday

NO other team has that issue.

I just posted this so those reading could really understand what we were talking about and how we got screwed.

APP also has 3 Thursday games where the opponent has a Tuesday game (GaSo and Tex St are home for both but ULL plays home and then has to travel to APP). Short days for them to prepare. I do like that we have no Tuesday games. Not sure about having one week all away and next week all at home, but I guess that is what 'travel partners' give (did not look close enough to see if others were the same).
Also noticed that ULL and ULM have 3 games week of 2/16.
There seems to be trade-offs all around.

I also seriously doubt that anyone will really care that we don't like the schedule. It works for the other ten schools and I doubt they will express much more than the recognition that it isn't very favorable to us.

If football keeps trending upward, we're likely to be one of the league's more valuable members within a few years. I don't think we're the school they want to be alienating.
