I have been so focused on football to this point and didn't even realize how young our B'ball team is. Just one senior and 2 juniors? Doubt we'll make much noise this year but no excuse for the next 2 years...

agreed. I could tell right out of the gate against Davidson and UT. The body language, effort, execution, etc. We will be better without last year's leading scorer. The box scores already indicate that we're much more balanced...multiple guys with 9, 10, 11 points in both games. I'm glad Fox finally has his own team with no previous Capel players.HeffnerIV wrote:I don't know that we'll win the conference but this is definitely a different and more complete team than we've had in years.
Also, it seems that Fox and his staff have are really good and finding players who are under recruited, under the radar, but fit the system. Patrick Good and Kelvin Robinson are going to be really good. They don't play like freshmen at all. Good was the most consistent scorer last night, and he takes good shots. It's obvious that he's a coaches' son.

Went to last night's game as well. Defensive effort was poor for the most part. Tennessee is likely to finish near the bottom of the SEC. Good news is we are showing flashes of brilliance. Good, Robinson and Shabazz outside can play.
