Does anyone know our Holmes attendance record? I’ve heard we hosted UNC in the first year of the building but I can’t find any attendance records anywhere.

We did host UNC my last year in school. I couldn’t get a ticket either as you had to stand in line and I had class. I know it was packed but don’t recall the number.

Was nice seeing them finish that game out tonight.

Seemed like more than that to me. Regardless, great energy and volume. Definitely the best support I’ve seen in years. I thought I attended a game against GA State in Fox’s first year with more fans than listed…maybe not.

I graduated in ‘86 and attended several games in Varsity. Help me remember, did we actually go through any turnstiles back then? Seem to recall just showing my ID at the door. Does Holmes count students? My freshman son was there Friday night and texted me that the crowd was big. His first hoops game at App.

I was at that game! Rodney Peel missed 3 pointer at the buzzer to win it. ETSU had Keith "Mister" Jennings as point guard. He was the best player in the league by far and ended up playing in the NBA for a few years from what I remember.
