...And I had a friend back in '99 that got accepted at Duke, turned down by chapel hill and he enrolled at App. There will always be one-offs situations. That is why you look at averages.

The numbers I presented are the middle 50%. That means 75% of the class had metrics meeting and exceeding the stats above.

With the interst level in App we literally have the opportunity to select the best of the best. The middle 50% stats and high volume of applicants suggests generally we are.
That would also mean that 25% don't.
