Not calling for a W, but I do think we are sneaky good this year. The Davidson and Tenn games, despite L's, showed me this team has some grit and can compete.

Went there a few years ago and the experience just wasn't as good as I thought it would be and had heard

Been there many times...it is hot, it is cramped, it is old, but it is always full of energy and excitement, at least in my experience...
Told my friend (die hard Duke fan) today that he should give thanks that it is not the App football team coming to Durham on Saturday...

It is an iconic venue like Fenway, Pawley Pavillion, Madison Square Garden....Boston Garden....there are so few left and I applaud Duke for resisting the urge to change it.

There is no place like it. Best venue there is.

I'm not a fan of either but I'll watch both I like good basketball. I am a fan of three entities and it ends there: Appalachian, the Panthers, and the Hornets.

Had planned to try, but couldn't find any tickets for under $100. Don't want to see us get hammered that badly.

As an App fan first and a UNC fan second, this upset could be yuge.

If Bolden and Tatum play it could get ugly. I think Giles sits out longer and will have a Kyrie Irving type career at Duke. If they are all still resting, I think App can keep it respectable. Upset I couldn't make the game, but as EastHall pointed out tickets are too steep for me to go.

I used to do halftime shows back while I was in high school. We performed at App, Charlotte, UNCG, Wake, NC State, UNCheat, Davidson, even Charlotte Bobcats games. Aside from the halftime show in Bobcats arena where Duke and Davidson were playing right after Davidson had that Elite 8 run nothing can compare to the emergy I felt in Cameron.

I will be there proudly wearing my black and gold! I'm taking my mom who went to Duke in the 60's when it was called "The Indoor Stadium." Back then the students called it the Snake Pit, because all the outstretched arms looked like snakes. Love them or hate them, it's hard to deny the history and atmosphere of that place.

I'd love to see App keep it respectable, but if either Bolden Giles or Tatum play it could get ugly fast. I really do not expect any of the 3 of them to play in this game though.
