Used to love the classic App shorts with a block A on the hips. The unis/shorts they wore at Duke were atrocious. They looked like pajamas or sweat shorts. Bring back the block A

Yeah, I was at App in the early 90's. Classic unis. Appalachian State on the chest, classic shorts with block A. Awesome. My wife went to Duke and I was truly embarassed at those yesterday.

Agreed, the home gold ones are better, those road ones are comically awful

I agree. Almost as if our players should have bowl cuts and high top fades with LA Gears as the team shoe.

Does the school/coach have any input or does Nike pick. We have Nike, Duke has Nike. Theirs are sweet, ours are cartoonish

Agree. Who cares about the uniforms. We need to play much better basketball!!

Nothing to be embarrassed by in the score. There were passes that could have been caught if two hands were used, but the outcome was set in the first three possessions when G. Allen hit his first three 3 pointers.

About what I expected. That's why I don't care to be somebody else's sacrificial lamb. I'm glad we play a competitive schedule but these type games don't hold any interest for me because the game is over before it starts. It likely was a great experience for our players to get the chance to play in Cameron and it can be justified on those grounds. But personally the game didn't hold much interest for me.

It's clear we have shown improvement over last season and with the youth on this squad one hopes this team will only get better as the season progresses. The future does look bright.

Back to the uniforms. Thus us what happens when you let the players have too much input. This outfit has to be the most horrible thing worn by any App team ever.

They are the ones who have to wear them.

So if the uniforms looked better the thread might read:

That performance looked like the team was listening to Jimi in the locker room, but they didn't hear Jimi.

The design of the shorts make them look strangely like diapers. Not my favorite but if the players like them that's good enough for me.

Tough place to play. I recall us playing at Cameron many years ago. We had a team manager who happen to wear a pink oxford shirt. The crazies decided that they were going to ride this poor kid so they chanted "pink shirt, pink shirt"!
