Bobby Cremins video story

Unread post by scatman77 » Tue Feb 28, 2017 6:54 am

At the age of 29 he became the youngest Division 1 college basketball coach in the nation at Appalachian State University. Good coach and a good man. For the Mountaineer basketball fans and especially the younger fans who've never had the pleasure of getting to know Bobby Cremins:

We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

It was a lot of fun watching his teams play in Varsity Gym. Another cool thing I remember about Cremins is when my wife and I went to an App football game in Statesboro one time (a ways back) and sitting there mingled in with the App crowd was Cremins and his wife wearing Black & Gold.

Deep down he still bleeds Black and Gold!
