Former Mountaineer Chris McFarland has a small role in the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie. Those of you that remember Chris, he was a high flyer and a fun player to watch (01-05). Great guy and ambassador for the school as well. I've asked him for details on when to look for him in the movie (looks like right around the 35:00 min mark; not sure about the rest). For now, here is a screenshot

He and Johnathan Mitchell were very enjoyable to watch soar through the air.

Another random fact. Does the name Phil Cochiletti (sp?) ring a bell? For we old timers Phil was starting QB under Brakefield in the early 70's. He led the drive that set up Jerry Harmon's FG that beat EZU in 1974, when The Rock was just a pebble. Phil has worked in Hollywood for many years mostly in Daytime soaps.

Another random fact is that Phil dated Pam Dauber from Mork and Mindy while he was a model in NYC.
