Q
Akron is the perfect team--in couple of ways. They are a perfect 4-0 at home and a perfect 0-2 on the road. They have a bunch of frosh players and about as many D-I transfers. One of the transfers is from ECU. Not too scary! Go Apps!

Re: @ Akron
Easy to predict. Nope, not that we would lose, that everyone would be apathetic. After Western, collectively our energy is deflated.
Personally I look at it the same as the Hornets. Do something, anything to pull me back in. Until then, I'll be checking in from afar.

Re: @ Akron
Yea this team is easy to be frustrated with because we actually have talent and have chances to win. This team is way way better than we were 4 years ago. Just got to start putting it together on the road and in right games. But still some time left in this one down by 1.

At least we are not coming out and falling apart to start the 2nd half. Tied as I type this. 64 all. Now 66-64 as I am a slow typist.

Re: @ Akron
I watched the whole game. Again we have talent, but are not using it to our advantage. We had four fouls on two of their big men and did not go after them in the paint to get them out of the game at the 7 min. mark and we paid a price for it. Using Kinney down low or using the guards to penetrate to draw the 5th fouls and we would have won.

Re: @ Akron
Please don't jump on the band wagon when this team starts winning and making some noise in Sun Belt play. I have been quiet listening to all these people bashing this team and Coach Fox. They work hard and are right on the edge of doing some very good things. The program is being built THE RIGHT WAY and I can't wait for these kids to pull it all together...good things to come, you can see it in their play.CharlotteApp05 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 09, 2017 8:12 pmEasy to predict. I think comments about frustration are mainly a decade in the making. We get a huge win or two then follow it up with a dud. That's the culture around App basketball until it changes.

Re: @ Akron
We actually played a pretty good game tonight. Outside of a few poor shot selections, there isn't much to criticize. Akron just passed the ball phenomenally well, sometimes the other guys just play good games.

Re: @ Akron
I agree fox is looking to build our program the right way. I’m just frustrated...it is taking soooooooo long to see progress. We are now 35-66 under our current coach....that’s a win percentage of .346.

Re: @ Akron
The Zips are one of the better teams we'll play all season. I hate losing winnable games as much or more than the next guy but there was a lot to like about our team's play tonight. Our guys are gettin' there...

I’ll keep the faith ASU66. Will feel better when I see more wins and less close but no cigar loses.

Re: @ Akron
Couldn’t watch the game because my girlfriend dragged me out to see the nutcracker but I periodically checked the score. Looked like another close game with a good team. Gotta think we’ll put it together soon.
