Re: WBB: Ga Sou @ App St
Tierra Wilson led five Apps in double-figure scoring; Baylee Plummer had another double-double performance.
If it happens to the Apps, it happens to me!

Re: WBB: Ga Sou @ App St
This team was so fun to watch this weekend. Creativity, hustle, knowing what not to do and doing it all four quarters.
Tierra is going to be a superstar. She's fearless shooting the ball, something this team has needed for 3 years. Lapresha has a motor that never runs out. Lainey has learned her strengths and weaknesses at the college level. Nicola has gone from project to surefire guard in no time. Bailey is a double-double machine.
I thought this team was doomed without Madi and a limited Kaila. But they've all stepped up.
The key going forward will be keeping everyone into next season and graduating them without turnover.

Angel and the other coaches are doing an exceptional job - teaching, leading, correcting, encouraging - you know, coaching. The players are responding. The improvement since the beginning of the season is remarkable.
If they can keep the nine healthy players healthy, the rest of the season could be fun.

If serving is beneath you, then leading is beyond you.

Boy, the freshmen on this team have come to life. Lets see if they can keep it going. Never would have thought they would have a chance to have a better season than the men based on their level of inexperience and early season injuries. This would appear to be the team with the bright future.

I like what this team looks like going forward but we need to keep things in perspective. Their three straight conference wins are against teams with a combined 1-16 record. Hopefully this streak gives them the momentum to continue their level of play going forward. It certainly would appear Angel and staff did a stellar job on the recruiting front based on the contributions from this freshman class.

In talking with coaching friend at Elon he said they were recruiting Plummer hard and App got a good player.
