Football team recognition
Is the football team being honored during tomorrow's basketball game with Ark St?

Re: Football team recognition
I want to say I saw a tweet recently setting a February Saturday (17th?) for the celebration. If I can find that tweet, I'll post it. I'm sure someone can find it before I will.

Re: Football team recognition
That has to make the basketball team feel bad.... Only way to entice people to basketball is to bring the football team to the game.

Re: Football team recognition
We have done this many times over the years. And we recognize other sports during football games. This is a bit of marketing of course but should not be taken as anything more than a chance to recognize the FB team which is hard to do during the FB season.
This is my very generic signature added to each post.

Re: Football team recognition
Still say that this would be better as a Yosef fundraising event.
Hold it on Friday 7:30pm start 1.5 hours of signing pictures then comments.
Give basketball tickets to those who want them.
Have an event only item that can be signed.
Charge adults $15 a head and children $10.
It would do everyone better.

That's what I do. I gripe and I know things.

Not as bad as UNC’s football team probably felt having to wear helmets with a basketball player graphic.HighlandsApp wrote: ↑Fri Jan 26, 2018 12:08 pmThat has to make the basketball team feel bad.... Only way to entice people to basketball is to bring the football team to the game.
