I was not offended by the article. I was actually amused by it. I thought Zaxbys and the University handled the situation well.

Well at least they mentioned Appalachian Basketball!

Kudos to Ms. Goode. The next time I'm in Boone I'm eating at Zaxby's.

At least they handled the situation better than Popeyes.

I went on Sunday evening to claim sandwiches with our tickets. The staff were great and were definitely serving students that weren't at the game. Word had spread through student body and a lot of people were there. Most were buying a side or drink, but a few were not and they were all treated great. It was a little slower than usual, but moved great for the crowd that was there...I guess since everyone was ordering the same thing.

This promo consistently got the loudest crowd involvement of the year, especially after a first free throw miss by the opponent.

I'm more concerned with why the headline is North Carolina mountain town and not just of the town. Is the readership that unaware of the location of Boone?
