Re: Beat stAte
Only have ourselves to blame. This is only about the second or third game I've been able to watch from start to finish this year and I'm just stunned at our carelessness with the ball, our crappy passing and the lousy decision making I saw tonight. No wonder nobody goes to the games! Who wants to see basketball this bad?

We "turned over" another really big opportunity.

I honestly am not advocating anything, but the only browser that I can view yosef's cabin due to ad blocking software is firefox.

Re: Beat stAte
Talk improvement all you want, but as of right now, there are two teams in the conference with worse records than us and we just got swept by one of them.

We are tanking to late in the season to improve our chances in the lottery.
That's what I do. I gripe and I know things.

Re: Beat stAte
I know Fox's improvement has been mentioned and I've seen glimpses, but as a whole, I can't say there's been much improvement. If we win out from here, we will have won 4 more regular season games than we did last season. That does not deserve a 1 year extension in my opinion. I'm ok with letting him play out his contract, but the only way he gets an extension next year is if he is top 3 in the conference and has 18 plus wins.

All of the above. Another in a long line of absolute give aways. There was zero coaching during the loss of the 15 point lead. The last few minutes a repeat of numerous earlier games. Our best game was in November ...yada yada yada , blah blah blah plus we LOST TO WESTERN !

Re: Beat stAte
Fundamentally, Fox's teams have been some of the worst I've seen. Has anyone seen Shabazz or Kinney ever finish with the off hand? Why are these players not being developed? Kinney is so one-dimensional in the post with his left hand, that it's laughable - plus zero mid-range capability. They've been on campus 3-4 years and still can't finish with off hands - heck they don't even try! Does anyone else who watches the games cringe when they see full court pressure being applied to us? Our full court inbounding has to be some of the most embarrassing in the country due to lack of a true PG and not effectively using screens and hard cuts to the ball. Oh and turnovers and free throw %? HA! Learn the fundamentals - and we'd be at least 17-12 instead of 12-17. It's painful to watch a team show so much potential and fall flat. Mental toughness is key!

Re: Beat stAte
I’ve come to the conclusion that a truly good college basketball coach is one who can get a middle of the pack team to play hard and beat teams below it at this time of the year. That type of coach instills the idea that “anything can happen “ and that his team has a shot to do great things post season. When you see a team play like crap for stretches and lose to bad teams you have to wonder if said coach still instills fire or if he and the team are simply playing out the string. Just an observation over many years of watching college ball.

I swear, I wonder if we'd be better off if we just sold our program to Jackie Moon and let him try to fix it.
