I don't think we can get a bye anymore as GaSo and UTA both won today and both have tiebreaker over us, but 5th is possible, but I could be wrong.

The mere fact a win against a team that 6-23 is celebrated as an accomplishment is the likely reason folks have decided to quit whining and just remain silent.

I’d rather be 6th than 5th.

Me and Big C crunched some numbers and there's ONE ROAD to the 4-seed.

1. Appalachian State beats Coastal Carolina (Saturday) to finish 9-9 and CCU finish at best 8-10.
2. South Alabama loses AT LEAST ONE OF TWO games at Georgia Southern (Thursday) or at Georgia State (Saturday) to finish 8-10/7-11.
3. Troy lose to BOTH Georgia State (Thursday) and Georgia Southern (Saturday) to finish 8-10.
4. ULM goes 1-1 at Little Rock (Thursday) and Arkansas State (Saturday) to finish 9-9.
5. UT Arlingtion loses at Texas State (Saturday) to finish 9-9.

App State would end up in a three-way tie for fourth with UTA and ULM and due to a 2-1 record versus the other two (UTA 2-2, ULM 1-2), App State would win the tiebreaker.

The remaining schedule looks pretty favorable for both UTA and ULM to end up 10-8 and for Troy and USA to end up 8-10. Us and Coastal could be battling for the 6 seed next weekend and a 9-9 record. Coastal looks pretty good against stAte so far tonight. Of course, several different scenarios could play out differently for the 4-10 seeds. What a cluster in the middle.
