That's a fact and here are the guys that did it...Bobby C's '78-79 SoCon Tourney Champs and App's first NCAA Tourney Team. The roster is still like the Who's Who of App Basketball! Darryl, Boo, Mel, Payton and Fitch!

Great team, loved being there in Roanoke when they won the tournament.

Good man. I've kept up with Charles Payton , off and on ,over the years , others from a distance. I hate to bring this up but Renaldos rotation on his shot was southeast to northwest. I remember thinking " how is that going in " , but it did. Don't forget Paul Keller and Herb Jones. Neat guys. Good memories.
