Hopefully Fox can keep moving as forward toward a winning record and a NCAA tournament birth in the coming years.

Glad to see Fox get the extension. I know it has been a slower than hoped-for process, but things appear to be improving. I hope that he is given every opportunity to win. Since the extension is longer than most of us expected, it looks like the administration is doing exactly that!

Congrats, Coach Fox!

Yes congratulations to Coach Fox. It has been a long time coming. Without regurgitating the whole thing, thought it would be two yrs and hope he got a bump up too. We are in a better place and now there will be continued expectations as well. I’m sure it’s been much harder than he originally thought.

Wish Fox the best, I’ve always been a fan of his.

Looking for great things, when he’s successful I hope he can return the favor and stick around a couple years longer than most would.

Glad to see Coach Fox get this extension, but I'm surprised his detractors from the Spring didn't post their dissatisfaction.

Still have my reservations but there really wasn't a choice. You either commit and lose or dont commit and lose regardless. Hopefully if and when he is successful he remembers that.

We should have the best roster we've had in a long time in 18-19. My expectation is 20 wins.

It has taken longer to correct the dumpster fire our Men's basketball program was that expected but things certainly appear to be improving. Congrats to Coach Fox and hopefully better days are ahead.

First thing you have to do is stop throwing fuel on the fire to put it out. We are still having players transfer out.
That's what I do. I gripe and I know things.

Transfers are not necessarily an indicator of a problem or anything specific. Playing time is the most likely reason for a transfer. Kids and their families have limited patience and persistence. Another thing to point out is that as the program improves Fox will be able to "recruit over" some of his existing scholarship players. When that happens a transfer often occurs. It is that way at all levels. With an improving program Fox will also be able to take less risk in his recruits.

If your reference is to Zach Cottrell, he landed at DII North Georgia. Hopefully, he can be successful there. He got his chance with Fox, but he just wasn't a D-I talent. He was never going to help us and his PT was going to shrink to near zero with the coming of Joe Battle, Mike Bibby and Adrien Delph. Godspeed to Zach.
