Man we don’t look good....

Fox built a shooter team, schematically, and it’s just brick city out there. Hard to watch.
Yet he continues to play 2 bigs at all times. We need to play small ball. It's not like the bigs are rebounding.

You don’t go to Charleston and eat BBQ......
Sure you do, you’d be very surprised at how good the Q is in this town
I get good Q elsewhere I eat good seafood when I come to Charleston.

For a veteran squad we continue to commit the same errors time and again. This a very solid Purdue team but we don't look like we belong on the same floor with them. It's way too early in the season to make a judgment about the season to come but I thought I would see better than I have thus far against D1 competition.

I was hoping against hope that our guys had finally turned the corner. I was soooo wrong. So far, it has been men against boys.

Ike Johnson needs to be out there. He had 22 pts and 13 boards against Alabama. He has rebounded well since he’s been in an App uniform. He won’t be playing against 7’4” and 6’10” 280 lb guys in the belt

I know this is very obvious but watching Davidson play Wichita makes me realize how much our offense mirrors Davidson.
True. We just don’t really execute it as sharply most of the time.

I agree. Ike is not who I am referring to. Tonight we played Seacat or Jake Wilson for 15+ minutes in the first half. Both should be sparingly played.

I get it, but Lewis BBQ is worth a try for lunch one day while you’re here sometime. You won’t be let down. I also live here so I need other kinds of foods every once in a while. We have a great emerging Asian food culture as well.

I’d rather eat BBQ in Charleston than watch our basketball play sloppy

Shabazz is playing out of position again this year and wasting his value to the team. I’ve been told it’s to raise his NBA stock but he wouldn’t start for Purdue much less make an NBA roster. He could be one heck of a three in the Sunbelt.I would like to see Johnson and Johnson down low,him at the wing , Forrest and heck the freshman Delph at guard. Or Battle. My coaching days are over but I always tried to make my plan fit my kids rather my kids fit a plan...

I'm sure it was to counter Haarms but it was pretty ineffective. Again, we won't likely play another team with Purdue's talent or size but we have got to take better care of the ball if we expect to show marked improvement over past teams. Perhaps we'll see what we can expect from this team v. 1-2 Wichita State. Against Alabama and Purdue we look too much like previous Fox teams. I'm hoping for better.

If Fox is valuing a potential NBA career over winning games with App then that is disappointing.
