Would love to see us keep trying to push the pace. None of our bigs look particularly good, but I'd like to keep seeing more Gylfason.

Not sure about now but he did play in the first some.

We aren’t good right now. Defense wins games and we don’t have much of it. I’m gonna chalk this tournament up to a learning experience and hope that it’s true. Shabazz has tried to do too much in every game of this tournament and it’s been costly. If we aren’t hitting 3s, I don’t think we will win much. There’s some pretty fundamental stuff not happening on d, like help side on the baseline. Maybe we will be decent in March.

As for the team...it's same 'ol, same 'ol...the excitement some had for the renewed Fox is now down the drain. The team fought back to force an overtime and then just disappeared into a 1-4 record.

Never fear. Winston-Salem State is next...we should soon be 2-4 with no wins against a D-I team. That should really pack 'em in to HCC.

I agree. Frustrating but Same ol same ol for our basketball program. Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. Oh well, Go Football. Beat Troy!

The bad news is that we do play Ga Southern and they're 5-0.

Even HS girls can execute post play moves. For some reason this has been lacking completely during the entirety of Fox's tenure. It's the key to playing consistently good basketball. It's why Shabazz has to spend all of his time trying shoot our way to a W.
