Yet Another Blown Opportunity #FireJimFox

Another opportunity for a statement game that was easily winnable....blown by a coach and team that repeats the same mistakes over and over.
Coach Fox should be making them run a lap for every god-awful shot they throw up at the basket when there are clearly open guys. There were about 5 airballs, and multiple in a row by the same people.
We also have to understand that we really suck at playing man defense, especially in time-crunch situations like the end of the second half tonight. The other teams are so much better at moving about and making plays than us, and it makes us look stupid as we struggle to stick to our assigned man.
Shabazz is good, but he needs to get better at looking around when the other team learns to double-team him. Bibby was good, and I look forward to seeing what he can do in conference play.
This was a totally winnable game that we blew....again. Something has to change, and I think we all know what it is. The talent is there, but we don't know what to do with it.

I agree that That loss is another one that hurt, but lets not freak out too much until conference play starts.

You say it was winnable, but don't give credit to Fox for elevating the program to where we can compete with Georgetown in the first place.

But is that saying much considering Georgetown hasn't had a winning record since 2014-2015? We're not talking about competing with Big East title contenders Georgetown, we're talking likely another bottom feeder Georgetown.
