The Apps take to the HCC hardwood at 7 PM tonight for their final home non-conference game of the young season to face the NAIA D-II Milligan Buffs of Elizabethton, TN for the 29th meeting between the two schools. The Black and Gold lead the series 19-9. The two schools see the game differently. For ASU, this is another home non-conference tilt; for the Buffs it's just an exhibition.

Sadly, Jim Fox needs the win to "count" on his record. Milligan probably needs a fistful of mulligans to stay in it.

The Buffs are coming off of a 15-14 season in 2017-18 and stand 7-5 so far this season. They are 0-2 against D-I competition--having suffered recent lopsided losses at Middle Tennessee and at Elon. The Buffs' best player is 6-6 senior Aaron Levarity of Freeport, Bahamas--a two-time NAIA All-America selection. Levarity averages double-double scoring and rebounding stats in the high teens.
