The USA Jags (11-0) visit App Thursday evening to take on the Apps (6-5) and kick off the Sun Belt season. USA has played a mixed schedule (both cupcakes and majors) and remains unbeaten. The Apps have likely played a stronger schedule...BUT...the two teams have had one common opponent--the ETSU Bucs. The Bucs routed the Apps in J.City by 31 points. The Jags beat the Bucs in Mobile by 7. It didn't escape my attention that the Jags also beat Alabama in Tuscaloosa and Sou Mississippi in Mobile and both FIU and New Mexico State on a neutral court.

The Apps could cause earth tremors with an upset in this one.

Important game to preserve the unblemished home record. I am less optimistic about how So Ala got to 11-0 than asu66. USA has 5 wins of RPI 250+ and zero top 100 wins.

That's a good point in our favor and a great opportunity to open our SBC play with a win. I just never look at RPI and power rankings until mid-Jan. any more Hope we win this one!

Didn't want to say anything until the buzzer sounded. That was awesome and a GREAT job by the Lady Mountaineers!

I didn't see this one coming...Laney Gosnell was 0-5 in the first half and 7 for 12 in the second...18 points, 7 boards,1 assist and three steals versus only 1 TO in 34 minutes of play. Red hot...all-conf stats for a single game.

That was a nice game to watch. Down by 10 in 2nd quarter and down by 8 into the 3rd quarter and slowly and methodically they fight back to within a basket or so to start the the 4th quarter and win by 8. Way to represent women!

This team has an outside shot at 20 wins. Need to win 13 more games to get there. The league looks a little down compared to past years so it's possible.

Strong win by the Lady Apps! Watched the last 5 minutes of the game. This team continues to play well and stay composed in tight games. Congrats team and coaches!

Seriously, can this staff coach the men's team and the women's team. This team is clutch.
