Offensive foul ... ugh.

But he constantly leaves shooters wide open from deep on defense.agentpaul001 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 26, 2019 5:41 pmHolley looks solid. This is the best movement from him I’ve seen to date. It’s great that we can use him outside of being a 3 pt specialist.

Re: Men's Basketball @UALR
Hope we pull this out. I just can’t get over how weak we appear on d. It’s almost like we don’t work on it in practice....that and the lack of crisp ball movement on offense. Fox’s system has really changed since he arrived in Boone, or the players aren’t executing it. His system was predicated in constant movement and hard cuts from the beginning, like Davidson. I just don’t see much movement without the ball like I did in the first few years.

We're coming down with some nice defensive boards.

Up 8 with under a minute. We don't even have to shoot anymore. Just get the ball in bounds and make them foul.

A couple bail-out calls have kept us on top. Our inability to handle pressure D has been a recurring issue with this system.

Closer in the end than it needed to be but we finally got the hay in the barn. I'll send a cookie to anyone who knows the name of the basketball coach who used to use that phrase.

Nice job to these guys on the win! It looked a bit iffy when LR went full court but thankfully we built up enough of a lead to still pull it out.
Several guys stepped up today so tough to single anyone out but Shabazz In particular played really well.
As a team we won the TO battle big time which is great since that’s been a rarity in past few years.
Yay for a win and on the road too!

Whew. Tried to give it away, but I hope this is the start of something big. Gotta stay positive when the team gives us something positive.

An ugly game to watch but a great win to take back home. Finally got that heavy monkey off our backs. Hope we leave it in LR as we leave. You did it, Apps!

After getting this win I really feel we will see a different team now. I hope it doesn't delay the inevitable, but I think we'll have a much easier time now that we have a conference win.

Our kids will get a stern test from the La La Ragin' Cajuns Thurs. evening. They'd better get a grip on in-bound plays and the press this week.BallantyneApp wrote: ↑Sat Jan 26, 2019 6:29 pmAfter getting this win I really feel we will see a different team now. Why can’t you just be happy that our guys got a win and be supportive that this is the start of something positive for the team! All this FOX negative talk is really getting old. ! Proud of the team and fighting through and finishing. Think the broke the ice and are going to really battle hear for the rest of the season! PROUD OF THESE GUYS AND THE COACHES TODAY!
