I believe this is our first ever win over UL. Last night was the kind of performance we expected to see all season. This squad is capable of this every night if they will trust the system. Patience and teamwork are the key. It also helps to play a UL team that doesn't play defense.

Yep, for some reason the Cajuns had been a team that we’ve had trouble beating since we joined the league...also USA has been tough for us.

LaLa has always been too physical for us to handle, until last night. Frankly we shot well , very well, proving that we can. And yes they looked uninspired, especially defensively .In the end we showed the talent to compete and win in this league for most of 40 minutes. If we shoot like this we can win out. We won't of course ,but the ability is there if applied.

Happy for the win. Once thing I don't quite get is how ESPN and Vegas knew an App win was likely. I mean, Louisiana isn't UTk, Duke, or UVA, but they literally had a record twice as good as us, both conference and overall, coming into last night.

Nice to see a big home win for the good guys. Time to put the pedal to the medal and shoot up in the Belt standings.

Glad we put back to back wins together but let’s not forget that we beat one team with a record as bad as ours and one team with a mediocre record. Both at home. At this point I’ll take it though. Difficult decision ahead.
If the decision you are referring to is whether or not Fox should be canned, I would say that is the furthest from difficult as you could get. He's done less with more for way too long.

I don't care how it happened (doesn't seem likely it was Fox), but not seeing the first player to touch the ball once across half court shoot a 30 footer was much more like real basketball.

It seems to me that the only thing Fox and staff are doing now is postponing the inevitable. Even if we do go on a little run in February it's still very unlikely that we finish with a winning season or advance very far in the conference tourney (if we even make it). That's going to make it five losing seasons in five years on the job. Doesn't seem too difficult to me.

I agree. I would LOVE to see us become a successful program again. If it was going to happen under Fox It would have by now.

Word is the Louisiana coach had one of our fans ejected from last night's game. How exactly does that happen short of yelling profanity??

The coach's name is Marlin and the kid was making Finding Nemo jokes.

He's been the MVP of the student section for a few seasons now and is always funny without having to make things dirty.

I heard no profanity. Only student that was really into it. Can't build a fanbase if we remove them for providing home court advantage

I remember Mrs. Buzzard Peterson having two fans ejected for yelling profanity at her husband. It was in Knoxville and they were her own fans.

I'm too old to understand what a Finding Nemo joke is. If an App Security employee removed our boy from the arena DG needs to have a serious discussion with her/him.
