That Saturday afternoon "fade" goes all the way back to the Houston Fancher era. That trend needs to end tomorrow!

We were known to fade during the Apke and Cantwell Eras too. Especially when the likes of ETSU and Chattanooga would come to town. For years those two teams flat out owned us.

Would have been nice to get a blow out but it's good for the team to win one of these close ones. We've been in a lot of single digit games this year and lost the vast majority. Looks like the team is starting to believe! Keep it up, Apps!

I’ve been as critical of this team as anyone this year, but let’s give credit where it’s due. Something has obviously clicked in the last few games. These kids suddenly look like a different team. A tough stretch awaits against 6 of the top teams in the belt. Maybe we prove that we belong.

Ok, first congratulations to the team for fighting back. As a casual b-ball observer, I’ve followed the grief that’s been given to JF. I understand the frustration... it’s been 5 yrs blah, blah, blah. In the past five years it seems he’s cobbled together like three different units in those years. I know he/ returned 4 starters from last season plus we had all this new talent. It is safe to say that this team... the first 8 or 9 players are very talented. I guess that’s the frustration that you are so talented but you’re not able to finish games. I have felt that there is so much talent that it has been harder getting the right personnel grouping at the right time. I’m glad that it seems that problem is getting resolved. I also think those close losses have given this group the experience to know how to close these tight games. It’s not magic but when we are playing stout defensively this is when we extend leads and win games. This team can shoot.
