It rotates each year. That's just the way it fell this year.Arsenal App wrote: ↑Fri Feb 08, 2019 9:14 amStrange how the Sun Belt works out its basketball schedules. We play the four teams farthest away from Boone (TSU, UTA, ULM, ULaLa) twice yet two of the three teams closest to Boone (GaSt, Stink) we only play once.

Re: MBB: Apps v. TSU
It was a frustrating second half once the Apps went cold but the team played hard on D and kept it close. I'm not sure what we're doing when we take it inside, or if TSU is just that good on D, but seems like an awful lot of blocked shots in this game.

Damn another heartbreaker. Give the Apps credit that they are fighting to the bitter end. Great effort against a good team on the road.

Earlier in the season (during the 0-6 run) I was seeing posts about complacency and lack of hustle. That's definitely not what I saw last night. I saw a shooting slump that cost us the game but plenty of hustle

Yea I really believe this team has turned the corner.... whether it was the coach figuring out who to play when and/or the players finally gelling.... this is a much better team.

We'll have divisions next season, home and away versus the five in your division and play everyone in the other division once, plus the four-game pod schedules at the end.Arsenal App wrote: ↑Fri Feb 08, 2019 9:14 amStrange how the Sun Belt works out its basketball schedules. Amen! Ronshad and all the boys are working very hard and want to win as badly as we all want them too.diehardapp18 wrote: ↑Thu Feb 07, 2019 9:19 pmMan, Ronshad has absolutely given his all and more for this program yet some of y'all honestly still talk like he's holding us back. For four years he's worked harder than anyone else on this team and has literally carried us to wins on multiple occasions. When we were 0-6 in the conference he easily could have quit and just gone through the motions the rest of the season, but clearly he did not do that. He's still playing with passion and is keeping us in this game tonight.
Please, show some respect. Damn good Mountaineer.

There are only so many corners you can turn before you realize you're going around in circles. I'm just saying.

Re: MBB: Apps v. TSU
Getting them coming off a loss to their rival made it a little tougher ,they seemed focused and squeezed enough out of their talent to win. We didn’t .
