Agreed, it would make no sense to fire him this close to the end of the season. I disagree. Fire him, let an assistant coach while we find a replacement, and let the replacement start getting ready for next year and recruiting when it opens. I don't think it will happen, but I also don't think it makes no sense to go ahead and do it. At this point, Fox will have his chance to coach the team into the Sun Belt Tournament. There's a lot of parody in the league and we could sneak up the standings.
Right now, I'd say the goal is to get to a 7 or 8 seed and host a Sun Belt Tournament play-in game.
But it would take something special to avoid another losing season. 8-16 isn't good enough in year five.
