MBB: Apps @ ULM 8 PM EST ESPN+

Our *struggling* Apps, tied with Troy for dead last place in the SBC, are on the road tonight in Monroe, LA to take on the fifth place Warhawks. I can't put a pretty face on this one simply because the team and coaching staff making the trip are the same that put together our not-exactly-hot 1-11 road record this season.
Late last month, the Apps beat ULM 85-84 when big Hunter Seacat sprinted downcourt and blocked an almost certain Warhawk snowbird layup at the buzzer. Not certain our guys will score 85 points in this one. We'll need a big Seacat contribution to get the win.
Watch here if you wish...

Shabazz with 44 and 1 assist. 57% from the floor. Would have liked to see him share the ball in a couple situations, but I’m sure he was feeling it every time he touched it.
Hell of a scoring performance. It was fun to watch, but still results in an L.

Shabazz finally had his nba moment. 30 shots, 9 three pointers and 46 points. And.........we still lost. But maybe fox can put on his next job application that he grooms players for the next level

For what exactly? Other guys taking a shot every once in a while?

I understand Shabazz has dominated the ball too much at times, but I don’t see how people can fault him for it tonight. 17-30 overall, 10-17 from 3. If you’re going to shoot like that then please take 30 shots every game.

At least when Donald Sims lit Davidson up for 44 points (on the road I might add) we won the game.

One constant in the four SBC wins was that besides Ronshad, someone else stepped up. You need a consistent second option to win in this league and we haven't had that.
ULM put their best defenders on Ronshad early in the second half and held him for a while, but Ronshad still went off and scored 20 in the second half.
The rest of the team went 10-32 from the field and 2-13 from 3. And ULM shot over 50 percent with four players in double figures.
Ronshad is blameless tonight.

Hey genius excluding tonight how about you take a closer look at his scoring percentages on the season. Yeah he shot great tonight. This was an anomaly. How many times has he shot us out of games with bone headed shots? But in the James harden era, who’s team is in 5th place continue to fawn over the gunning. He plays one good game and the team and app nation owes him a thousand apologies. But you know basketball. I can tell.

I generally agree with you but ronshad has not played like this consistently. It’s unfair to blame the rest of the team become he hit his shots tonight
