Seven seniors will play their last game in HCC Saturday afternoon and will be recognized in pre-game ceremonies. Those players include Ronshad Shabazz, Tyrell Johnson, Bennett Holley, Jake Wilson, Nick Hough, Kevin Kerley and Trey Ford.
Following the Senior Day ceremony, the (11-19 overall, 6-11 SBC) Apps will get another shot at the (14-16 overall, 7-10 SBC) USA Jaguars. The Jags prevailed in a closely fought 79-73 contest in Mobile in early January. South Alabama holds a 7-1 edge in the all-time series between the two schools.
As was stated in another thread, there are a lot of moving objects in this last day of the regular season. The final standings and conference tourney berths are on the line.

Without the Johnsons down low, #33 for USA had a field day. All he needed to do was get the ball in the post and he could back up Seacat and Wilson to the baseline and lay it in.
Still, we were in it late. Down by two scores, USA had three straight one and ones and missed the front end. Yet we didn't capitalize on any of them.
