Good game tonight. The crowd was definitely larger than usual. Pre Stanley really helped put the game away after our lead was cut to as little as 1 pt. in the 3rd or 4th quarter. She had 28 pts - scoring most of those in the second half - as well as 3 steals.
Excellent support from...

JR Bayley "Double-Double" Plummer with 11 points and 21 boards;
SOPH Lainey Gosnell with 15 points and 8 boards;
SR Madi Story with 13 points, 8 boards and 3 assists;
Jr Ashley Polacek with 13 points, 5 boards and 2 assists; and the
Apps as a team committed just 6 turnovers in the game.
If it happens to the Apps, it happens to me!

App did an excellent job of holding off a Marshall team that was shooting red hot from the 3 point line in the second half. They closed to within one point but the Apps pulled away again. Excellent game. I'm glad I got to watch this one! Go Apps!

Congrats to Coach Elderkin and the ladies! A 20-win season is always a fine accomplishment. Now, we need to take care of the Camels. And I believe we will. Coach has some fight in her; we all know that. I think her players are showing how much they respect her--by playing with some fight of their own.

App WBB played excellently most of the game. The fourth quarter was well played on both sides and the win was well-deserved.
