Throwback Monday: MU @ APP--6:30 pm, Monday, March 25 HCC
Support Angel Elderkin and our Mountaineer Women's Basketball Program as they play for their 20th win of the '18-'19 season and their second over The Herd. The Apps beat The Herd at HCC 74-52 back on Nov. 25.
Both teams have steadily improved since that game. Support our Apps on Monday evening.

The Blundering Turd returns to Boone. Miss this rivalry in so many sports, good to see some games across the sports in next few years. Their visits always brought big and loud home crowds, hope that is true tonight.

As the article on the web site did not have it or a link directly to it when I looked, tickets are $10/$5 A/Y GA and available for advance print, will call and at the door.

I also have mixed feelings about the promo video for this year. Nothing bad but I would prefer the mountain shots be of the Appalachian Mountains. Some of those mountains seem more for a school in the MWC or Big Sky.

App's Lainey Gosnell and Herd's Shayna Gore lead all scorers w/10 each.
App's Bayley Plummer trails the entire MU team in rebounds 15 to 20!

What did Angel say on the PA after the game to the crowd? I assume it was thanks for coming out but could not hear exactly.

Yes, we have home court for the entire tourny but Holmes was booked for the UNC-A game so they decided to play at UNC-A for that game.

My favorite football memory is riding the goal post down King St in '94. Knocking off the #1 ranked team in the country at the time was an experience of a lifetime for a 20 year old kid.

Good game tonight. The crowd was definitely larger than usual. Pre Stanley really helped put the game away after our lead was cut to as little as 1 pt. in the 3rd or 4th quarter. She had 28 pts - scoring most of those in the second half - as well as 3 steals.
