Travel to Boone

Wanting to head up to see Davidson game but wondering if anyone has a report on how 321 North is looking? Can handle snow but not ice.

I'm leaving Charlotte in about 30 minutes to head up the mountain. Already have tickets in hand so I'll have to take my chances!

According to the alert on BooneWeather.com, it is still below freezing at the moment but the sun is expected to come out and start melting some of the ice in the late morning. Showing a high of 36 today so hopefully the drive won't be too bad.

As I'm typing this right now at 11:30, the temperature is 28 and the sun is trying to peek through the clouds. I think the main roads are fine, as there is a good amount of travel outside my window on 321.

I hope all traveling make it to Boone safe.
