Interesting that with regard to the question of SoCon coaches on the "hot seat" NO ONE mentioned Capel. The three coaches mentioned were Jackson at Furman, Young at Georgia Southern, and Shulman at UTC. Not a word about Capel -- guess he's safe for now!

Jackson and Young have much worse records than Capel. It doesn't mean he's safe (though I'm assuming he will be back) but he is in less trouble than those two for sure. Shulman is doing poorly at a school that cares about basketball which may be his death knell.
