Well, were getting nearly doubled up at half and are on track to score a whopping... 50 points.

This will sound harsher than I intend it to, but I remain skeptical until proven otherwise. I am excited for a fresh start under Kerns but I'm afraid I've become accustomed to losing basketball. I would love to be awakened from that notion.
As frustrated as I am with the score. I think this team will really grow this year and make some big strides. We don’t have a go to scorer yet.

12 turnovers and 1 assist in the first half. We don’t have any superstars. Team effort is our only chance to compete in nearly every game on the schedule, so got to work on chemistry and find effective lineups. Tough opponent and trust Kerns will improve culture, team and ultimately results in time. Will take a while to get there.

I am all in Coach Kerns. I have seen a major culture shift based on the engagement with other sports on social media and his exclusive interviews with 247. The defense first mentality is exactly the kick in the ass this program needs.

Should be an electric atmosphere in Ann Arbor when App State comes to town. Ever heard that before?

Michigan is a young team that will be without a talented freshman Franz Wagner (Mo's younger brother I believe). Expect growing pains by both teams, which could lead to an abundance of turnovers and transition opportunities - I like our chances if we can consistently get out in transition. We know this team can run the floor and fill up behind the 3 pt. line, just a matter of getting in UM's grill and challenging them.

To quote my friend Herb Brooks: "Great moments are born from great opportunities." Tune in folks, we could be witnessing the start of something great.
Update: don’t tune in folks.

I thought Kerns was supposed to be a defensive-minded coach? Our defense has been horrible tonight.

The score isn't great, but you can see the heart, hustle, ans passion Kerns is instilling.

Hope Forrest is ok -- took a hard fall under the basket.

I’ve been impressed with the freshmen and transfer James Lewis. They are playing too fast and have gotten out of control a couple times, but that’s expected. I’m looking forward to watching the development this year.

Fighting hard. I’m impressed. Quick transitions, good zone and man to man. Still have some chemistry to build, but they have life.
