Really enjoying the aggressive team D this year. James Lewis in the starting line up gives us a real fast starting 5. Fun to watch so far.

Very good early season win for this squad. The tournament in Greensboro this weekend should be another set of good games for this team to continue to lay the foundation. Things are looking up so far.

Great win! I'm starting to get excited about these guys. Still some things to clean up, of course but for this point in the season, we definitely seem to be ahead of the game over years past.

Re: ECU game thread
That ECU possession at the end where James Lewis blocked the shot and Johnson immediately blocked the next shot was awesome. The effort, intensity are very real this year.

Credit to our guys for knocking down some clutch free throws

Seemed to be a solid showing from the students tonight –- good crowd noise in the 2nd half, and Ethan Joyce shared a video on Twitter of a good APP-STATE chant during a commercial break.

Get to the games. Let students sit right behind the beach. Fill the side lines and then fill the end lines.

Until season tickets are more in demand, fill in the lower bowl, especially the side that is seen on TVAppstate88 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2019 9:45 pmGet to the games. Let students sit right behind the beach. Fill the side lines and then fill the end lines.

I watched the game on TV, great win! I was in the stands back many years ago for the ASU vs UNC opening game in the Holmes Center. The place was sold out! I wish we could get back to at least half that level of excitement. I also remember back in the 90's packing out Varsity Gymnasium anytime we played a Socon Tennessee team (UTC, ETSU), good times!
