Why must Elon haunt us in basketball with large come from behind victories? Our women lose to Elon after a great start.

Not the start this team was hoping for. This is an experienced team that has high aspirations.

Because that's about the only sport they can defeat us in.

I still have bad memories of the Elon winning after being down more than 20 when we were having a special presentation for the football team for winning a NC. I think that was 06 or 07. Great crowd for a basketball game as many were on hand for the football team and MBB laid an egg.

This occurred on a beautiful Saturday afternoon (all weather things considered) with a larger and more enthusiastic crowd than normal on hand to celebrate football's success and to sample the basketball fare on the menu. Many of those fans haven't been back since for basketball. Maybe later this season we can begin to attract some of those folks to give App MBB another look. Fingers crossed!
